French teacher at Silverlake Technical College, Since 1985
- 🇩🇪 Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

- German
I teach French at Silverlake Technical College in Essen since 1985. Most days I teach teenagers, and I play music while people worked.
I've coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Helene
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Helene: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me French in 2009 at Silverlake Technical College. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
