Helen Marta Kahsay

Jazz player and teacher in Addis Ababa

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • 1982 to 2017
  • English
I've played jazz from 1982 to 2017, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach. I teach about 10 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once.
