Héctor T. Castro
Gymnastics and fitness coach, Bogotá
- 🇨🇴 Bogotá, Bogotá D.C., Colombia
- Bogotá Summit Sports Club
- 1985 to 2014
- English
I coached gymnastics at Bogotá Summit Sports Club from 1985 to 2014. Most of my players were between 8 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Héctor
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Héctor: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
