Héctor D. Urbina
Mural painting artist in Detroit
- 🇺🇸 Detroit, Michigan, United States
- Since 1998
- English, Spanish
I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 1998 at Lotus Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Lotus Art Collective, which keeps me honest.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Héctor
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Héctor: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
