Héctor Chávez
Painter, potter and teacher at León Gallery
- 🇲🇽 León, Guanajuato, Mexico
- León Gallery
- Since 1999
- Spanish
I work mostly in embroidery, sometimes glass art. My first show was in 1999 at León Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I fix old bicycles.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Héctor
I've had 12 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

I bought one of your pieces in 2008. It's still the first thing I see in the morning. Greetings from Sacramento.
