I teach history at Shreveport Public School in Shreveport since 2017. Most days I teach Grade 4, and I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm learning the guitar.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Heather
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Heather: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

you taught me history in 2025 at Shreveport Public School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard!
