I taught home economics at San Diego Technical College in San Diego from 1985 to 2011. Most days I taught Year 10, and my door was open at lunch.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Heather
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Heather: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
