I've worked in leatherwork from 1980 to 2015. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 1,260 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
