I taught design and technology at Andes Academy in San Diego from 2003 to 2023. Most days I taught first-year students, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Heather
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Heather: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
