I taught special education at San Diego Public School in San Diego from 1992 to 2005. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I never once raised my voice.
I ran the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I walk the dog by the river.

What gifts mean to Hazel: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
