I've coached badminton at Hillcrest Swimming Club since 2016. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I play music while people worked.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Hazel
If you played for me, you probably remember the quiz night we nearly won.
What gifts mean to Hazel: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
