Helping people break into writing
- 🇦🇺 Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
- Sydney Community Trust
- 1980 to 1991
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 260 people through Sydney Community Trust.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Hazel
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Hazel: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
