Hazel L. Valdez
25 years teaching social studies in Quezon City
- 🇵🇭 Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Mount Pleasant Middle School
- 2004 to 2023
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 19 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,080 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Hazel
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Hazel: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your Year 10 class in 2013. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Siliguri.
