Hazel Burke

- San Diego Middle School

I taught Spanish at San Diego Middle School in San Diego from 2013 to 2025. Most days I taught Year 7, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Hazel: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me Spanish in 2022 at San Diego Middle School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

You taught me Spanish in 2019 at San Diego Middle School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won.
