Hazel B. Villanueva
Gospel and drums teacher
- 🇵🇭 Lapu-Lapu, Cebu, Philippines
- Lapu-Lapu Mount Pleasant Ensemble
- 2000 to 2012
- English, Filipino
I've played gospel from 2000 to 2012, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 9 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Hazel
I wrote my first song when I was 21. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Hazel: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.

I still have the recording from that night at Lapu-Lapu Mount Pleasant Ensemble.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
