Hauwa Obiageli Uba
Master of plumbing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Little Sunrise Shop
- Since 1981
- English, Hausa
My trade is plumbing. I opened my own shop in 1981 in Lagos and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 22 years later for another job.
More about Hauwa
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Hauwa: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
