I've been a nurse for 40 years, most of them in school nursing at Lagos University Hospital in Lagos. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I make terrible puns.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
