Hassan Tariq Metwally

Calligraphy artist in Riyadh

  • 🇸🇦 Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
  • Riyadh Studio
  • Since 1978
  • English, Arabic
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes textiles. My first show was in 1978 at Riyadh Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by the sea. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Hassan

I've had 8 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
