Hasitha Indika Fernando
Self-taught sculpture artist
- 🇱🇰 Jaffna, Northern, Sri Lanka
- Since 1981
- English, Sinhala
I work mostly in sculpture, sometimes watercolor. My first show was in 1981 at Jaffna Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I take the work seriously, though not myself. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
