I've coached badminton at Istanbul Riverside Community Club since 1995. Most of my players were between 8 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Hasan
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Hasan: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
