Hasan Tareq Dutta

Physical education and mathematics teacher, Mumbai

  • 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
  • Mumbai Primary School
  • 1978 to 2008
  • English, French
For 30 years I was the physical education teacher at Mumbai Primary School. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Over the years I had 1,530 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Hasan

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
