Haruto Yamaguchi

23 years teaching early years in Kyoto

  • 🇯🇵 Kyoto, Kyoto, Japan
  • Beacon Grammar School
  • Since 1982
  • Japanese, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 44 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I've had 1,140 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. Thank you for stopping by.

More about Haruto

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Haruto: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
