I've volunteered with Beacon Community Kitchen since 2002. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
Our crew is about 34 people now. Everyone brings something.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Harumi: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.

My mother was helped by your animal shelter and she talks about you all the time. Greetings from Xalapa.
