Harumi Mei Hasegawa
Drums player and teacher in Nagoya
- 🇯🇵 Nagoya, Aichi, Japan
- Maple Ridge Orchestra
- 1991 to 2009
- Japanese
I play drums and violin. I started in 1991 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 7 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Harumi
I wrote my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Harumi: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
