Harper W. Alexander
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇬🇧 Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom
- Little Maple Ridge Workshop
- 1992 to 2023
- English
I've worked in tiling from 1992 to 2023. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,330 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Harper
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Harper: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
