Harper G. Walters
Midwife and nurse, Jacksonville
- 🇺🇸 Jacksonville, Florida, United States
- Jacksonville Community Hospital
- Since 1985
- English
I've been a nurse for 41 years, most of them in palliative care at Jacksonville Community Hospital in Jacksonville. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I fix old bicycles.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Harper
I still get cards from families years later. They're pinned to my fridge.
