My subject is modern history, and for 20 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Yonkers Institute of Technology.
Former students now work as a farmhand and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Harold
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Harold: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
