I've worked in blacksmithing from 2005 to 2018. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 250 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
