Harold E. Perez
Coached cricket for 17 years in Newport
- 🇬🇧 Newport, Wales, United Kingdom
- Newport Football Club
- 2002 to 2019
- English
For 17 years I ran the cricket program at Newport Football Club in Newport. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
