I teach modern history at Sunrise College since 2008, and supervised 33 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Harold: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
