Harish F. Rathnam
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Riverside Trades Guild
- 1994 to 2007
- English, Tamil
My trade is pottery. I opened my own shop in 1994 in Mumbai and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
More about Harish
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Harish: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
