Haris Waqas Farooqi

Volleyball and fitness coach, Islamabad

🇵🇰 Islamabad, Islamabad Capital Territory, Pakistan
Islamabad Bamboo Community Club
Since 1986
English, Punjabi

For 40 years I've run the volleyball program at Islamabad Bamboo Community Club in Islamabad. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once. I'm still learning every day.

More about Haris

If you played for me, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

What gifts mean to Haris: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
