I've coached rowing at Elmwood Boxing Gym since 1994. Most of my players were between 11 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Hannah: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
