Hanna Hanna Kassa

Special education and social studies teacher, Gondar

  • 🇪🇹 Gondar, Amhara, Ethiopia
  • Hillcrest Boys' School
  • Since 2003
  • English, Amharic, Spanish
For 23 years I have been the special education teacher at Hillcrest Boys' School. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
