Hande Elif Güneş
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇹🇷 Antalya, Antalya, Türkiye
- The Antalya Workshop
- 1991 to 2004
- English, Turkish
I've worked in weaving from 1991 to 2004. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 510 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Hande
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

You fixed our roof in 2013 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Semarang.
