I've worked in carpentry since 1987. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 1,790 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
More about Hana
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Hana: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
