I've spent 30 years as a lecturer in architecture at Heliopolis Polytechnic in Heliopolis. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Hamza
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
