Hamisi Musyoka Onyango
Volunteer mentor with Beacon Foundation
- 🇰🇪 Eldoret, Uasin Gishu, Kenya
- Beacon Foundation
- Since 1996
- English, Swahili
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 630 people through Beacon Foundation.
I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Hamisi
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
