Hamisi Macharia Maina

Youth netball coach and mentor

  • 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Brookfield Youth Club
  • Since 2008
  • English, Swahili
For 18 years I've run the netball program at Brookfield Youth Club in Dar es Salaam. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once. I'm still learning every day.

More about Hamisi

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
