Hamisi Kiprop Wafula
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Old Rosewood Workshop
- 1987 to 2003
- English
I've worked in pottery from 1987 to 2003. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 850 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 13 years later for another job.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Hamisi: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
