Hamisi John Maina
Mentor in design and leadership
- 🇰🇪 Thika, Kiambu, Kenya
- Thika Community Trust
- 1993 to 2023
- English, Swahili
For 30 years I've mentored people in design and leadership. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.

If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.

What gifts mean to Hamisi: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
