Halyna Sorokin
Painter, potter and teacher at The Novosibirsk Pottery
- 🇷🇺 Novosibirsk, Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia
- 1994 to 2017
- English
I got into watercolor as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day.
Most of my work is inspired by my grandmother's kitchen. I walk the dog by the river.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Halyna
I've had 10 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Halyna: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
