Halima Wunmi Yakubu
Poet and teacher
- 🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, Nigeria
- Maple Ridge Courier
- Since 1984
- English, Igbo
I write sports writing. My work has appeared in Maple Ridge Courier and a few places that have long since closed.
I write best early in the morning with a pot of tea. I'm learning the guitar.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Halima
Some of my pieces still make me wince. Some, I'm proud of.
What gifts mean to Halima: I'd put a gift toward a research trip.
