Halima Winnie Karanja

18 years teaching history in Gulu

  • 🇺🇬 Gulu, Northern Region, Uganda
  • Crown Secondary School
  • Since 1979
  • English, Spanish
For 47 years I have been the history teacher at Crown Secondary School. I teach Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
