For 21 years I was the home economics teacher at Atlas Primary School. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Halima
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
