Halima Rose Okello

Agriculture teacher at Atlas Girls' School, 2012 to 2023

  • 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Atlas Girls' School
  • 2012 to 2023
  • English
I taught agriculture at Atlas Girls' School in Dar es Salaam from 2012 to 2023. Most days I taught the youngest children, and my door was open at lunch. Over the years I had 510 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Halima

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Halima: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
