I've coached swimming at Nairobi Jacaranda Sports Club since 1997. Most of my players were between 10 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Halima
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Halima: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
