Halima Ngozika Afolabi

Coached rugby for 28 years in Ikeja

  • 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Ikeja Community Club
  • 1996 to 2024
  • English, Yoruba
For 28 years I ran the rugby program at Ikeja Community Club in Ikeja. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
