Halima Naliaka Mwende
30 years teaching mathematics at Mombasa University
- 🇰🇪 Mombasa, Mombasa, Kenya
- Mombasa University
- 1996 to 2005
- English, Swahili
My subject is mathematics, and for nine years I got to share it with undergraduates at Mombasa University.
Former students now work as a nurse and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Halima: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
