Halima Modupe Akinwale
Choir director and singer
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Quartet
- 1984 to 1992
- English
I've played saxophone from 1984 to 1992, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 20 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
What gifts mean to Halima: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
